They take charitable donations and spend our donation money on their salaries & marketing: Website, self promotion, etc.
However, when people seek to volunteer & try and respond to their posted volunteer positions, nobody replies to emails. Their website says volunteer candidates are to contact Ms. Lai by email. No response from her. So, I email the Executive Director Mariam Bouchoutrouch. No response from her either. Seems they are happy to take salaries on the backs of donations, but don’t have the decency to respond. That can only either be “unprofessional” or “bad attitude”. Maybe, both.
