When looking for a counsellor in BC, you want to look for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) which requires a Masters in Counselling, specific training, and a certain amount of clinical supervision hours. Benno is instead a “registered professional counsellor” which has extremely less requirements.
Benno falsely states that his services are covered by extended health insurance but they are not. No insurance companies cover “registered professional counsellors”, they only cover registered clinical counsellors, social workers, and registered psychologists.
Please do your research when looking for qualified counsellors.
