I should have wrote this 6years ago when I first used the company at a big extensively custom house on the river in Kemptville. The guys on site were a bit messy and I happened to mention it to the owner in passing on the phone. To my surprise two of his guys were there early in the morning to fully scrape and clean the entire site! (half my job as the builder) I also couldn't help but notice the review from a couple below....far fetched to say the least... I'd be willing to bet that there is more to that story. Everyone of Hobin Built's drywall jobs from the birth of my company until now has been handled effortlessly by The Ottawa Drywall Guys HERES TO MANY MORE!

We hired Nick to finish a drywall taping job that we needed completed in the next two weeks. Nick came to quote the job the same day and assured us that he could complete the job in our required timeline. We waited 6 days for him to start, as he assured us he could do the job in 4 days. He showed up at 10am on the start day and then texted me at noon, saying he had to go 'put out a fire' at another job. He never returned and then texted again at 6 to tell me that he couldn't do the job any longer because he was too busy. Why take on a job that you don't have time to complete? Why cause such damage to a homeowner's build timeline? Nick has caused a domino effect, delaying each trade that was to come in after him. I would not recommend him, he's not reliable and doesn't care who he screws over. Too bad I can't give less than one star.

He started on the Thursday and completed all work on the Friday. At all times Nick was professional, courteous and respectful and it was a pleasure to have him in our home. Went through quite a few drywall guys before settling on them and wish I had found them sooner.

Accommodating on short notice when needed, and does a great job finishing as well as cleaning up. Great customer feed back. Have tried to deal with other drywall contractors in the past who are much more difficult to reach and return calls. Negativity seems to be a reoccurring action on other one star reviewers, a shame, Ottawa Drywall Guys are excellent.

Not only were each of the guys involved in our Reno, extremely professional and trustworthy - their craftsmanship, attention to detail and efficiency -truly was second to none. Nick was extremely efficient with our initial consult, and had a quote to us that very day. Each of the consecutive steps of having our house (walls, & 21’ ceiling) Boarded, Mudded and Taped, and Sanded - exceeded our expectations. Nick, and each of the drywallers (Reggie, Cole, Joey, Jason and the Sanders) were absolutely phenomenal. We were anticipating the dreaded “mess” that comes naturally with the drywalling phase of Reno’s - but to our surprise - the "mess", was minimal. Each of the guys, after each stage - cleaned up and made our home livable. The Ottawa Drywall Guys will surpass your expectations - and you’ll be so happy that you chose them.
