★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully maintained trails. It's a nice walk on the soft pine needles. The trail doesn't have much elevation.
Part of the trail follows a steam. The water is crystal clear. We saw some dead trouts. Their spawning season is over.
There are a few loops you can take and they overlap. Trails are clearly maked by color. We did the outer loop in about 2.5 hours.
Wish there's more parking. However parking on the side of the road wasn't a problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With numerous entrances and designated parking lots, there are tons of paths to explore. With the creek passing through, it's a great spot to take a walk and enjoy the sounds of flowing water.
If you are looking for a place to go for a walk/hike, definitely a nice place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great family walk through the trails with freshly-fallen snow. Love the feel of this forest, and the old railroad story and remnants add to the experience.
Multiple loops to try. Our 4-year-old made it through the walk in from the parking lot and one loop in snow pants without too much fussing.
Parking lot is free, but please bring a few bucks to stuff into the donation box for upkeep.
