★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently took 6 days of classes (SCA Introductory Level courses) with John from Origins. Wow! What I didn't know about coffee! Great classes. John's a really knowledgeable instructor. Small class sizes allowed for lots of Q & A and individual attention. Highly recommend these classes for anyone interested in coffee, and John is the teacher to take them from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I work with a coffee roaster in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State, US, and was on a solo vacation when I found Origins. It was great to find this gem on Granville, and chat with the owner for a bit. They are extremely knowledgeable roasters, and despite my popping in unannounced they were very welcoming and eager to talk shop with me. I made sure to grab a bag of their beans, and bring them back for a cupping. We thoroughly enjoyed the roast, and I would readily recommend Origins to those looking for a wholesale vendor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John is a super friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable coffee roaster. He recommended a bean for our espresso machine at work and it made a big difference in the grind consistency. Plus, the taste is amazing! He has beans from all over the world, a true connoisseur!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best artisanal coffee roasters around. Does not offer brewed coffee, just roasted beans. Its main business is wholesale, but you can get a pound of their goodness if you knock on their door when they are open.

Place was clean tidy & had some local chocolates for me to try ? such a nice experience to have on a rainy ☔ day
