★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My recent visit to original Joe's was pretty exceptional. It wasn't all that busy inside so getting a table in the afternoon wasn't bad at all. The waitress serving us was friendly, able to refill our water with great speed, and get our orders correct! The food itself was a bit lackluster but I sort of knew that when I decided to go with the butter chicken. It's not that it wasn't tasty but it definitely did not taste like butter chicken sauce, more of an improvised recipe. Also there wasn't that many chicken pieces inside the sauce so I was left with mostly rice and naan bread to feed off of. Overall I can't say I didn't enjoy my experience but it definitely could have been better with the food that I purchased.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lack of staff made it less than enjoyable. The food was good when it finally arrived but our server never checked on us or offered drink refills and to add insult to injury we waited at the bar over 10 minutes to pay our bill and when it finally came there was a mandatory $10 tip added to a $40 meal! That's over 25% tip for lousy service!!! We won't be back unless things change there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New items from the seasonal menu are a welcome addition. Cajun butter steak and hummus dip, both were great! I'd suggest asking for plain pita bread rather than fried. This was a seasonal menu item.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service, great food! I got the Original Burger with cheese, bacon, and avocado. Usually when I’m here, I go for the soup. But on this occasion, I felt like fries. No gravy. I’m not a gravy guy. Why would I spend the extra money? I’m broke enough as is.
