What a find. The staff are very friendly. The food is amazing. It takes a bit to get your food because everything is made fresh to order. What a gem. The bill was very reasonable.

The server was not friendly at all that he didn’t even have basic customer service skills. The two dishes in the photo are Spicy Palace Chicken (top) and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Unfortunately, both taste almost like the same and coated with this thick sweet glaze that I had to keep drinking water wash down the over-sweetness. The fried rice was bland sprinkled with minimal ingredients. Authentic Chinese food? Not even close.

We were specifically looking for soup and the wor won ton hit the spot for my girlfriend. The won tons were really good. The food was made fresh, and it was pretty good! It did taste a little oily, specifically the fried rice, but honestly it didn't bother me that much. Lots of food and not that expensive. Overall, we were pretty impressed with it!

Portion sizes are great here (see photos). Food is flavourful, though doesn’t seem very fresh and the sauce is pretty syrupy. I’ll eat here again if I’m craving Chinese food in the valley, but won’t make a point to stop by every time I’m in the area.

We've eaten there 3 times in two years and each time the food has gotten worse. The gingerbeef was soggy, the sweet & sour sauce is lumpy and chicken fried rice was dried out and flavorless. For the price it isn't worth it. Overall disappointed and done with it.

Oh my, not as advertised! Quaint spot, friendly staff but not at all fresh or authentic. Rice overcooked. Pineapple sweet and sour chicken was pre-made and not heated through enough before serving. Hot and sour soup (one of my all time favorite soups, ever) was neither hot nor sour. I asked for red vinegar to try and salvage it but not even that could save it. Could not eat more than two spoon fulls. They were kind enough not to charge me for it though. The spring rolls were not "authentic" nor were they made in house. They were a pre-made frozen bulk item that was not heated through enough before serving. Could not finish this item either. I am from Vancouver and Richmond BC where I am used to truly authentic Chinese food (tripe, beef tendon, jellyfish, etc. and dishes from every corner of that continent). If you missed going to the grocery store to pick up some frozen chinese meal, then you can always go to Oriental Palace as a distant second choice.
