Orchard Restaurant

We had a lovely brunch here. The menu is small, but they made it hard to make a choice, with so many things we wanted to try. Our dishes were really nice, great taste, and high quality. The service was attentive and kind. The interior decor is a bit busy, but nice if you like plants. That said, we’ll be back to try more.

The atmosphere was great, and the drinks were amazing, the food could have been definitely made to be more interesting: Cheese bread 8/10 - very good, wish it was a bit warmer when it came out, reminded me of Little Caesars crazy bread which is amazing Cabbage 10/10 - this was my favourite, they did a great job adding different textures and a flavourful sauce Carrots 5/10 - nothing special, could have been slightly softer Broccoli 5/10 - same as the carrots, needed a texture element added Fingerling potato’s 5/10 - basic potato’s you could make at home, no special sauces or additions to this one Overall I would probably go again for drinks/snack and the atmosphere

Went on the Saturday of Easter weekend with my cousin and absolutely loved my experience here! The Mocktails were lovely and refreshing, the brunch was wonderful, and the atmosphere was amongst the best I've ever seen. Our server was lovely as well! Definitely recommend!

Let me say that I used to be in the hospitality industry for a long time and have had my fair share of experiences around the world. This was by far and away one of the smoothest customer service experiences I have had. The food was top notch, the cocktails were brilliant and the company I had, even more so. One of the more unique dining experiences in Calgary. Love it!

From the moment you walk into the place you know you are about to experience something special. The decor in this place is very eye catching and you can tell they spent quite a bit of time thinking about it and planning. Whoever owns/manages this place can definitely add "attention to detail" to their resume as everything is simply perfect when it comes to the place itself. Then you sit down and you are greeted by a thoughtful and kind person like Madeleine, who was about 50% responsible for making our experience very memorable. We started with cocktails as they were highly recommended, and we were pleasantly surprised due to the uniqueness of each one. I tried two of them, one that contains a Japanese Whisky, and another one that had rye and passion fruit, and get this: CUMMIN! I do not remember the names, but they were quite something. Then Madeleine continued with her fantastic recommendations and we had the Beat and Burrata, which you should definitely try, moving on to the cabbage, which by the way was our absolute favorite and would come back just for that. Then we had the eggplant, which was like an unexpected punch of deliciousness. Our palates were on cloud 9, but the night was not over yet, we still needed to try the main dishes, and let me tell you they did not disappoint, and by this point we trusted Madeleine with her recommendations, so we truly enjoyed the Rabbit with Pasta and then the duck. If I have to choose a favorite between the two I would take the duck, but with that I am not saying to not try the rabbit because the reality is, you probably want to try both. Last but not least we had the seasonal dessert, which was the perfect way to close out the night. Do I remember the name of the dessert? Nope, but I do remember it had blueberries, passion fruit "dust", some kind of Chantilly or similar, served on meringue. Overall it was quite the experience and I am so happy that we have such a great restaurant in Calgary. I wish this place, its staff and the owners all of the success they deserve.

It was very pleasure to have a lunch there. All of my friends were very satisfied. During the last 3 weeks, I went to Orchard again, in fact weekly basis. Still excellent server for my daughter’s birthday and my friends. However, I, my daughter and my another friend who were before noticed foods are getting saltier. I think this restaurant is gem of Calgary. Very tasty vegan foods as well as creative, innovative menus. However one of charming point of this restaurant was offering not so salty foods and little bit sad that the factor is fading.

The atmosphere was indeed casual elegance. Had a great business dinner here with a few associates. Great ambiance and vibe. Staff were friendly and non-rushed. The menu was simple and on the smaller side so very easy to navigate. Cocktails and food were cooked to perfection and I found it to be reasonably priced.

We celebrated our anniversary at this lovely restaurant a few weeks ago. I love the intimate and cozy ambiance. Service was impeccable as expected and food did not disappoint. We had high expectations due to rave reviews from friends and we had been wanting to come here since December of last year (but sadly could not get a reservation). We shared all plates as our server suggested. The garlic bread was stuffed with cream cheese and reminded me of the garlic bread you get from Korean bakeries. Roasted carrots were very tasty and we gobbled up our main dishes (duck breast and rabbit tagliatelle). For the quality of food, the bill came to what we expected. An excellent restaurant for a meal any day!
