★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Optimist Park is right on the Ganaraska River that runs through Port Hope Ontario. A favorite spot for locals to check out a baseball game, walk your dog (on leash) or just to relax by the water. It's also famous for its salmon fishing where anglers come from far and wide. A little bit north across the bridge you'll find the fish ladder where you can see these beautiful fish swimming up the ladder. Awesome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little park! Not much to see, but very pleasant, by the creek. A baseball diamond and small playground, a bit of parking spaces. Kindof sketchy coming out of the driveway though, as there is not what id call 2 lanes turning in.
