Once done, they clean the area after, leaves no mess behind. In this special time, they are doing everything they can to provide a touchless service, which is really helpful. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
update, this is the second time I booked with them and I have to say, they were great. They did everything that I asked of them, arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our experience with Open Canopy was great. It started with Jeremy coming by to talk about what we wanted, letting us know our options and giving us a quote on the spot. Then all of our questions were answered promptly. On the day of, the team of four showed up to remove four spruces from our backyard bright and early. They worked so hard, had great safety practices, and were very conscious of our yard. After they were done (so much sooner than I expected), the yard was cleaned up, the trees were gone and you couldn't even tell that there had been trees there. Now our yard is so much brighter and bigger! Thanks Jeremy and team : )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeremy was very professional from start to finish. His quote was digital and detailed, unlike other fly-by-night arborists who wrote down hand written quotes. This is my first tree removal and I had heard horror stories of hiring the cheapest guys out there. Jeremy answers all questions I had, including providing WCB and Liability Insurance letters addressed to me personally dated one day after my request. On the day of the job, they arrived early and worked hard all day long. I was worried about the tree being close to my fence, but it didn't get a scratch. They removed the stump with his own machinery. (Be wary of other arborists who have to hire out stump grinding which can cause timing delays or additional markups). His team cleared all scraps and yard looked free of most leaves. Jeremy even made a free kijiji ad post and all the wood was cleared within 12 hrs. They weren't the cheapest quote, but FAR from the most expensive, and without a doubt the best value in the city. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jeremy and his crew tackled a huge project to cut back our 100 year old poplar tree. Literally tonnes of wood needed to be safely brought down from well over 100 feet above ground. His highly skilled climbing crew did so while always being careful and aware of nearby structures. The ground crew ensured the area was left clean. Jeremy promised that everything would be left exactly as it was before and it was. We would highly recommend Jeremy and his hard-working, skilled crew.

They're just good honest hardworking guys who do great work and cleanup. Prices are more than fair. I highly recommend for anyone needing tree help. I'm always impressed by these guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tree removal in backyard was tricky because of gardens under the tree and proximity to fence. Open Canopy came prepared with a 4 man crew, climbing hardware, pulley system and full safety gear. Removal went in a very orderly fashion with due caution for the gardens below and no rushing even though it was time consuming. Stump grinding was also very thorough with consideration for planting a new tree in the same location. Overall very satisfied with the professionalism and results.
