★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed with my experience. Showed my nail tech a picture of what i want, and said i want it exactly like that. She informed me it would be an extra 10$ for the design, I agreed. The first problem was she put coffin tips when I asked for square, I didn’t feel like restarting so I left it. She continues and then as she’s already filed, shaped, cut to the length and some acrylic on 3 nails, she tells me it’s an additional 5$ for the length. I say that isn’t fair as she never informed me, and she started already .. she could’ve told me when i showed the picture or when she cut them. But no she told me as half a hand is already done and if i said no she’d have to completely restart. I say fine but never mind about the design (I only had specific cash on me and it’s starting to add up). She hurt me with electric nail file and a piece of my skin ripped off. I ended up spending 60$, on something I didn’t want in the first place and an injury. Was not happy with my experience and doubt that i’ll be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Of all the nail places I've tried since covid, Ongles Julie is by far the one that has both quality and fast service, with a friendly work crew. Plus, they keep a very clean work environment and ensure all clients wash their hands before going to any station.
My mother and I have only had pedicures done, but always happy with the finished product. My usual esthetician is Lana, who is always in a good mood, and does a great job even when she's backlogged with her clients, because someone showed up late. I will have to try a manicure sometime this year to let you know how that experience went.
The issue of waiting a long time before being serviced only happened once. What I will say to all current and future clients is make sure you show up early or on time for your appointment, because you wouldn't appreciate having to wait one hour cause someone held up the line, so don't be the culprit of that traffic jam.
I highly recommend you try Ongles Julie, you won't be dissapointed.
