Our Philosophy.
Our name ‘One World’ is of symbolic significance. It is consistent with our aim of providing children with a global understanding of their place in our world. We believe that children are our greatest treasures and that they represent the future of our world. Our aim is therefore to provide a unique learning environment where children have the opportunity to develop their personalities, self-confidence and spirit. This in turn will enable them to grow up into secure and responsible citizens of our ‘One World’. Our school provides the foundation for children’s education that stimulates enthusiasm for learning and discovery, as well as develops independence, self-esteem, self-confidence, responsibility and self-motivation. We believe in treating children with respect, dignity and love, and emphasize our 4 codes of conduct – Respect, Responsibility, Kindness and Gratitude. These codes form part of our daily lessons in ‘Grace and Courtesy’.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My children have attended One World Montessori for the past three years. The education and care they have received at this school, is exceptional. The teachers, the school environment and the Montessori philosophy have fostered a love for learning and curiosity.
The school is beautifully laid out, tidy and well organized. The teachers are nurturing and effective. The curriculum is engaging and comprehensive, while fostering children’s individual interests and creativity. Through the extensive curriculum, children are exposed to math, science, reading, history, geography, French, world cultures, art and music, as well as practical life activities such as folding clothes and flower arranging.
I am confident that my children’s experiences at One World will provide a solid foundation for elementary school. I would highly recommend One World Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing and engaging environment for their children!

The teachers are amazing, very caring and truly know how to work with the children to develop their talents, academic skills, practical life skills, artistic expression and independence. The curriculum is carefully developed and the space is well organized, clean and inviting.
This has been a great investment in our son's early development. He has flourished and continues to amaze us every day with the skills he has learned there. I only wish there was an elementary school like One World Montessori.

The director and all her staff are wonderful - kind, loving, patient and truly dedicated to their students and families.
From very young age these children are exposed to comprehensive curriculum that includes practical life skills, language, math, science, geography, art, music, grace, courtesy and kindness. It is an inclusive learning environment that fosters the natural love of learning that young children poses and grows their independence. We couldn’t be any happier with our daughter’s education and our experience overall. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best Montessori school on the south west of Edmonton. My daughter just graduated from the primary school. She learned so much at this school. The teachers are amazing and approachable. They stay in touch with parents via weekly emails. The weekly email helps me to have a discussion with my child about what she learned at school that week. The music class is our favorite, my daughter knows so many songs now. It's truly an amazing place and your child should be going there!

He comes home each day with a new exciting story to tell me and we love getting pictures of him at school too.
