After camping at Nairn falls we decided to spend the day here before heading back to Vancouver. The view is beautiful. There is a sandy area by the water and the grass was beautifully green. There is a couple of docks to hang out on. There is 1 bathroom. There is also a small playground there. Plenty of trees to stay in the shade if you need to hide from the sun. This was an enjoyable spot for my daughters to swim while I relaxed and read my book. We also saw Geese and their ducklings!

Very easy but the same time picturesque hike around the lake. There is also a track connecting One Mile Lake with Nairn Falls Park, which has some elevation and goes through a proper forest to experience real fresh air and observe some wild life.

Beautiful lake on a hot day, the grass area is a little small so it can get busy quickly. Great boardwalk around the lake.

Neat little place along the highway, well groomed pathways, lots of informative signs and kiosks. The board walk is pretty cool as it meanders along the lake and park so you can drink in all of the beauty of the nature of this area, the views are pretty phenomenal even on the dreary rainy day that I was visiting! I think it would be even better without the inclement weather and the pathway through the forest around the lake is very beautiful with dramatic views throughout the trees

Went mid August... I don't understand why this place is getting good reviews... I was afraid to go into the water as I may get swimmers itch.. it was full of Lilies and weeds and merky. We have been driving around BC and the GVRD looking for good dog friendly lakes. Yes the dogs can swim in this lake but from the parking lot you have to walk across the lake to the other side via the boardwalk (that was cute by the way) but when you get to the dog side again the water was so gross. Would not recommend this lake.. go to Haywood Lake in Mission or Buntzen lake in Belcara.

Since we only went during the winter, the whole lake was frozen with people walking their dogs and ice skating on it. The view is pretty amazing and me and my wife had a great time. Feels surreal thinking about the fact that this very ice will melt and people will be able to kayak, do water sports and what not.

Very nice trail and lake with Mt Currie in the background. Long piers let you go pretty far in for a nice photo as well. Very scenic and right off the highway

Really nice loop walk. You can see the lake from all angles. There us a nice hide out in the middle of it. There is also a dog beach ? and they had fun! Paddle board rentals on site.
