★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, quick service, made us fresh coffee, no problem adding goat cheese to my omelette. The eggs were cooked well, lots of tasty filling in the omelette, and we both found the homefries quite tasty. Nice quiet atmosphere in a great location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good local diner, with friendly and attentive service. We tried the "Philly" Poutine (reg size), the fries were done to perfection, well done and crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. The toppings were tasty with a bit of heat and the overall portion was well worth the price.
Came back two days later to try the "Original" Poutine, again the fries were superb. The only issue I had was the gravy, I wish they would make their own from scratch (from turkey or beef drippings), this is not to say that it is bad just that it would elevate the dish to the level it has the potential to be.
Will be back the next time I'm in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say... If you are a Poutine fan, well, you won't be disappointed!! This place offers some pretty solid choices of poutine for every taste. I had the pulled pork poutine and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend you drop in and treat yourselves to a wonderful meal with great service to boot! ? ? ?

Unfortunately where we were seated, we could see the cook’s helper cough into his hand, wipe his nose and scratch his hair with his bare hand and then handle home fries and toast without washing his hands.
Perhaps because they were under staffed, he was a last minute replacement it is normally not like this.
Unfortunately these acts of uncleanliness ruined a nice breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m a HUGE poutine fan and prefer vegan options with mine. And this was the perfect place to satisfy my cravings. My friend ordered the poutine with steak and blue cheese and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were recommended to On the Locks by another diner owner who was closed. The people were great and had us in and out in 20 minutes with fresh made hamburgers and sides. Good food and portions for the two of us for under $40 with tip. We took it to go and ate beside the falls!
