I was short a few pieces for a clients table and Mike was able to come up with some nice kiln dried slabs that my clients loved! There's a whole science into drying wood and Mike's got it down to an art. His prices are good, he has good selection and is a really nice guy. I would recommend Old Schoolhouse Mill to anyone seeking beautiful live edge slabs!

I am so pleased with the finished product, craftsmanship is incredible and the overall experience was stress-free. Working with us to choose the best length and width, and even guided us with recommendations for durable (and affordable) table legs. He went the extra mile by taking the time to check in with me throughout the finishing process, allowing me to select which side of the slab I wanted for the top of the desk.
