Closed due to landslides threatening to fall the bridge. A beautiful scenery that will be sorely missed when its gone.

It’s unique and part of the old Alaska Highways I love bridges and this one is completely out of wood! If in the area a must see...

Great piece of history that is deteriorating rapidly by not being maintained and used. Getting vandalized more every day.

Nice little side trip on to the old Alaska Highway and one of the bridges built in 42. It is a wooden planked 2 lane curved wooden bridge that you can still drive across. The road to it is paved and today, 6/12/18, in pretty good shape. I'm thinking of taking it as a side trip with the RV going out to get a photo.

This is an awesome wooden bridge. Do not be fooled by the museum models that showed his a wood structure over metal it is an all wood structure it is well worth the look. Driving over the all wooden plank deck for some reason had a unique field and was very worthwhile. The bypass route is barely out of your way the road is well tamed and it gives you a taste of the original Alaska Highway. This is a highly recommended minor detour

Awesome piece of WWII history. Amazing structure made almost entirely out of wood. Not too far off the main route. Camping at the nearby campsite of the same name if you need an overnight. It looks to be showing it’s age, with side timbers starting to rot... see it while you still have a chance.
