★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pull off the road and park here for a short walk on Old Baldy Mountain Trail - which does not go to Old Baldy Mountain but connects Graff Place and Baldy Mountain Road.
But you can make a 10km loop up to Old Baldy Mountain like this:
1. Park here and take this pleasant trail to Baldy Mountain Road
2. Turn left and follow Baldy Mountain Road until Hawking Road - turn right and go up the road until you reach Old Baldy Mountain Trailhead
3. Go up the trail to the summit
For the way down follow the path heading down the lake side of the mountain. Go down left of the cell tower on quite a steep path.
4. Eventually reach the rail track and follow the path right beside the track to the bridge where the trail began.
This is about a 10km loop loop
