Having moved to Penticton recently we are new to pretty much everything here - Christmas rolled around and we realized we needed to board our pup Luca for five days as we were headed up to the Coast. I tried four or five different places, all of which were totally booked or didn’t take larger breeds (in the Penticton to Kelowna area). I decided to search south and came upon the Okanagan Pet Resort (Pet & Pony Center). Luckily they had a cancellation and we were able to get a booking. It’s super close to us (maybe a 20 minute drive from Penticton) so that was really convenient and at $25 per day that also couldn’t be beat! I dropped Luca off at around 8:30 in the morning and was greeted by Elsa (?) who was very down to earth and friendly. I was a bit nervous leaving my pup because we’d never had him stay at a kennel before but she made me feel very at ease. Fast forward five days and we picked up a very happy and content doggy. So happy, in fact, that he whined all the way out of the driveway and out of OK Falls. He did not want to leave. We will 100% be using them again and highly recommend them. It’s a really charming setting with the horses and wide open spaces and the people are salt of the earth. Don’t be dazzled by high priced pet hotels... dogs need companionship and fun, not the spa. If you want a fun, safe, and all-around awesome experience for your pup, then book with these guys! Five stars!!!

Our dog was here 2 days last week. The owner is very friendly and my nervous dog had no issues after I left the property. There are a lot of horses around as the owner has a working farm next to the pet resort. Great price for a full day. I would recommend.
