About Ojibway Tent & Trailer Park

Ojibway Park, Home of Laughing Water Beach, was originally set aside for the women and children of Garden River First Nation to gather traditional medicines during the early 1950's.  By 1962, the park was opened to the general public and promoted as a family gathering place to enjoy the water, shoreline, campgrounds and beautiful surrounding trees.

Today Ojibway Park has 95 sites with water and 30amp power. Rough camping is also available with approximately 35 non power sites throughout the park. Sites can be rented by the night, week, month or for the whole season. Ojibway Park is a friendly, family campground situated along the beautiful sandy shore of Lake George.

UPDATES TO THE PARK:
Keep your eyes peeled! Ojibway Park has been upgrading seasonally, including:

Newly renovated Shower House/Comfort Station
4 new beachfront Cabin's
Gazebo's & Beach Pavilion
1000 ft boardwalk,  & 5 km Nature Trail

Ojibway Park has upgraded all powered sites to 30 amps and completed the installation of a new UV water filtration system in July 2014.  Future upcoming developments are:  New Gatehouse & Security building, additional Shower house,  and more powered sites, etc.  We thank you for your continued patience and business while we strive to continuously improve Ojibway Park.

Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates. Very clean and lovely washrooms/showers. Convenient dump station (could use a garbage can though at the dump station for used cloths/paper towels). Can definitely see stopping in again on our next pass through.

We stopped in to camp for the night heading to BC. It was just passed 9pm and they had closed for the night. The fabulous man at the office allowed us to grab a site and pitch our tent free of charge !! Are you kidding me ?? Who does that now a days!! Thank you for renewing our faith in humanity. All he asked for was a beer if we seen him in passing. We were gone by day light but will never forget his kindness. We will meet again one day and have that beer for you. Many thanks. You are a true gentleman. :)))
