Excellent dog park, for being right in the city it feels surprisingly secluded. Lots of nature to experience. Made up of one large wide trail made up of gravel and packed dirt suitable for strollers and wheel chairs that loops the park. There is also a very good selection of smaller trails in the trees along the river to add more variety and change of scenery. Access to the river in multiple places and the park is accessible from 3 different entries. I havent personall experienced any aggression from other dogs or had any negative experiences at this park.

This is my favourite off leash.. wish there were more like this. Conveniently located right off the freeway and beautifully located by the river with lots of trails. Huge area so you are spaced out from everyone creating a less dense space. There are paths that lead directly to the riverbank where you can walk next to it and your pups can swim and grab a drink of water. If your pups love running through trees, this will be a great option. Lots of parking but sometimes it’s busy enough that you have to park much further out. Only complaint is getting there down the current dirt road... they need to maintain it better or pave it. Usually conditions aren’t the greatest. It’s worth it for this park in comparison to β€œpoop hill” in Avalon or the random rectangular fenced in β€œdog park” in briarwood/rosewood.

This park is one of my favourite places in the city (and Nikka’s too!). It’s a huge area, with a ton of trails, river access, and a mix of open field and shaded forest. It’s a wonderful place no matter the season.

Loved it for the dogs I was with! As a pet care professional this was a great park to take bigger dogs to that have good recall and are well mannered. Most of the pet parents appeared to be responsibly watching their pets and cleaning up after them, which is awesome as it was a busy place!

Great dog park! Love the river walks for the summer, great walk in the winter! Accessible garbage cans and doo doo bags throughout, no excuse for people to leave trash. Bikes are supposed to slow to walking when passing dogs and walkers - does not happen all the time. You can access the dog park by the circle drive bridge Spadina access, in the summer there are lots of bikes and we have been hit by them - no problem in the winter!

The most beautiful dog park I have ever been too. Very large and you don’t run into people often. The dogs are always so friendly and well behaved. 10/10 would always recommend

My favorite place to go in the city. But for the first time ever I saw a coyote hanging out.. don't let that deter you though, it wanted nothing to do with anyone around. I highly recommend bringing your dogs here. There are a couple different paths you can take and when you're on the walking paths in the trees it hardly feels like you're in the city. I only posted the picture of the glass I picked up to hopefully make people aware that add the ground gets worn down things will find their way to the surface and to please take into consideration that the dogs don't know any better. **Wanted to update a little on this review.** The last couple of time I've gone here I've seen more wildlife, and its great. takes you right out of the city for a minute. There was a family of deer hanging out in the middle for the one time and the next one was a Friendly fat raccoon. He wasn't scared of us and we just left him be and he walk right out in front of us on the path.

Took my dog there for the first time. Had no clue that there is such a fine place in the city with dog trails. It was great. My doggo was happy meeting All the dogs there. Ample space, loads of running and walking trails. Must go for all dog owners
