When we made the funeral arrangement, since our parents share a plate, we were told that the date marker for my mother needs to be updated but included as part of the paid service. We were told later that the marker update is not included since the existing plate was ordered from another shop. In mid May, we contacted the funeral home intending to finish the marker. In the next few weeks, we left phone messages, text messages, email and even visited the funeral home. No one seemed to be interested in helping us. Anyway we are done dealing with this place. We found an independent funeral director and he helped us ordered the marker within a few days. So basically, there are absolutely no post-sales service.

Recently went through the process with this funeral home on a budget and it's taken over 2 months to go from cremation to Niche internment. The litany of excuses and errors are too lengthy to list. Suffice to say that when I buried my parents, who had funds for a very nice funeral, it took a matter of days and service was with a smile and cookies. Shameful Ocean View that your sole focus is on the bottom line, surely you can treat your clients in a more equitable and respectful fashion during one of the most difficult times a family can experience.

G	Gina Adair on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During a recent passing of a relative.....my cousin and I were very well accomodated and supported by the professional and caring staff at Ocean View....who went out of their way to ensure our every need or questions were handled promptly and with dignity... From the outset, my family felt that the "team spirit" that Ocean View has achieved within their staff, had our best interests at heart....everything included in that...from the office/executive/celebratory staff, to the catering, and the grounds staff responsible for the internment.... The approach was not "high pressure sales of unnecessary products ", but one of courteous informative comprehensive and respectful care.... I would not hesitate to recommend this company and location for the arrangements / burial / cremation / and or celebration of life for your loved ones.
t	teddy hu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Change of policy without notice and without prior notice that if funeral preparations are not done with them (they are almost twice as expensive as other comparable funeral homes), there is a $500 witness fee that is charged just to schedule a time to place the urn into the plot. If you forego the witness fee, then they do not guarantee time/date of Niche Interment. I feel this is very disrespectful to the deceased and our time and I would think twice about using their services!!!!

I called the cemetery about 1 month before I needed a site for a family member. They didn't return my calls after the initial contact. I discovered later, that if I had made arrangements before the family member died, I would have been entitled a 20% discount which translates to a few thousand dollars. Then when I was finalizing the contract over a few days, they told me that the price went up in the interim. They would not honour the price they quoted me. Very dishonourable: to quote a price and then within days raise it when the contract was in process and without warning. For $140, they are willing to throw away their honour. If it weren't for the location which was desirable for personal reasons, out of principle, I would have walked away and never do business with them. Obviously the company's priority is their bottom $$$ line, and not about providing a quality service.

They fully understand what you are going through and will kindly guide you through the entire arrangement process. Absolutely no complaints about them and I'm sure my dad would've been happy with how his funeral / celebration of life turned out. Highly recommend them.
