★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I pretty much loved the place. It was not very crowded like downtown Toronto neither to quite like other suburbs. It was a balanced mixture of hustle bustle and tranquility. The lake shore here is really peaceful and beautiful. The dining options are really great here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Downtown Oakville is one of the GTA's finest downtowns. Grab a croissant, take your girlfriend to the Anthropologie! Walk along Lake Shore! Good for morning, afternoon, and evening strolls. All of Toronto would be there if they knew what they were missing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will always associate the lighthouse with my deceased wife as we always loved sitting down there and watch the skies and lake at night. We even stuffed a backpack with beer and sandwiches and went to watch the meteor shower. So quiet and relaxing like most of Oakville. I'm so glad she talked me into living here. Thanks Oakville and God bless Sharon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for Photography, street with lots of character. Also nice place to spend time with family, and walk the dog. Many unique local shops that you can spend a whole day here. Free parking on Sunday
