Nu-View Roofing & Aluminum

Rob came out on a weekend and gave me a quote to do some siding repairs and put some weather stripping around a garage door and he seemed personable enough. His quote was the highest, which is not necessarily an issue; however, I do expect good customer service when being well charged. I had agreed to go with him since he said he could get it done for me on the next weekend. So far, so good. I contacted Rob the following Friday to confirm he would be at my place on the weekend, as agreed upon. He said he couldn't make it now, since he was tied up on another project. It would have been nice if he had contacted me a little sooner in the week to let me know but I remained open and understanding. He then committed to come out the following weekend which I agreed to. I contacted him again on the Thursday before that weekend to confirm he would be there. He texted me back to say he would be there on Sunday. Sunday morning came and I texted him at 10 am to see where he was, as he hadn't arrived yet. Finally, at 11:30 am, he contact me to say he "should be there at 3pm." Hum... can he get the job done coming that late in the day, I thought. 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7:30 pm came and gone with a no show. AND, the most frustrating part is he never contacted me again to say what was up. In fact, I always had to initiate communication with NU View (Rob) during this process. He never followed up with me unless he heard from me first. I was left thinking that if I didn't keep on to him he probably would've forgotten about me altogether. I gave up my whole day - a beautiful Sunday - to stay home a wait for Rob, (this being the second time around) from NU VIEW ROOFING & ALUMINUM. I can't comment on the quality of his workmanship, since we didn't get that far but I'm thinking that anyone who treats a customer this way is not a company I want and can trust... I lost all confidence in them. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We have had a great experience with Nu View roofing of Kawartha. They promptly came to do an estimate. The price was in the middle of two other quotes, and they could do the work the quickest, so we went with them. Great decision! They’re meticulous and prompt. Very respectful of your property (other roofing companies in the past have left debris). I highly recommend!
