About Nova Montessori Preschool
Our school
Nova Montessori Preschool provides services at three locations in Winnipeg, Manitoba (C-3311 Pembina Hwy., 2040 Chevrier Blvd., 613 St. Mary’s Rd.). We are open year-round, offering full time, half day, part time preschool, Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K), and kindergarten programs based on Montessori philosophy, and extended care for 2 to 6 year old children. The preschool program for 2-3 years age group is licensed by Dept. of Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care, and Pre-K and Kindergarten program for 4- 6 year group is approved & licensed by Dept. of Manitoba Education and Advanced Learning. We follow the academic requirements of the Manitoba school curriculum in the Pre-K & Kindergarten classroom. Our whole child education approach uses sensory-based and self-directed learning materials and methods to nurture cognitive, physical, social, and emotional aspects of a child’s development. Our qualified and dedicated staff are guiding children to develop creativity, intellectual curiosity, self-control and cooperation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My children have attended Nova Montessori from 2 - 5 years old. They have always loved attending and always had amazing things to say about the teachers and staff. My kids have learned so many valuable skills (e.g. math, culture, art, music, language, social)...but I think what is even more special is that Nova Montessori has instilled a passion and love for learning in both of my children which will carry them through the rest of their schooling years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been so blessed to have our 2 kids attend Montessori preschool for their early years. Our daughter attended form age 2.5 to kindergarten and our son has been going since age 2. I cant say enough about this program and all the ladies who have helped raised our children. We have always been impressed by what our kids have learned and how prepared for kindergarten they are - exceeded my expectations. And the time and effort put in to special occasions and holidays and birthdays to make it memorable and special and fun for the kids is exceptional. It’s such a fine balance of learning and play and structure to allow kids to have fun but also learn. All employees are very approachable and accommodating and understanding also so caring and loving towards the children. We have always felt are kids are in safe caring hands. We hope to send our 3rd baby there in the future! Nova Montessori you are exceptional!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so fortunate to have our two children attend Nova Montessori. The growth and progress that was attained while attending the school was incredible.
Our children loved going to school, always had positive things to say about school and their teachers and we never had a day when they said they did not want to go to school. To us, this was a great testament to how loving and caring the teachers are.
The school is super affordable providing more value that what we were paying in my opinion and the before and after school hours were a great convenience!
We will miss Nova Montessori and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well rounded preschool for their children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son is always happy to go to school, and sometimes even doesn't want to go back home from school - that is a good signal that he is well taken over by the patient and loving teachers. I believe he is so involved in the everyday activities, and is learning new things every day, and I am impressed by his vocabulary, both English and French. Really appreciate all the staff and their efforts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have seen extreme growth In both of my toddlers. My children are always excited to wake up and go to school. The teachers are kind and patient. The class sizes are small and non threatening for my children to have maximized one on one time with the teachers. The program pricing is very reasonable and affordable. My husband and I highly recommend Nova Montessori.
