I met Mr Dimitri for notary to certify a document. I never met a lawyer like him who is so kindly, polite and nice altitude to me and he was carefully reminded me where to find his office and booked appointment very easy and quick, even weekend. He did the work for me that was extremely fast, super simple and done with carefully and after leaving him as I was on the way out to parking lot I was smile and satisfaction completely, trust me and I recommend him for my friend and my relatives. I had a very stressful and discourteous experience with Mr. Eryk Rybicki (Highly recommended to avoid on all counts). He was extremely rude and impolite during our entire conversation. Even before starting the whole process, he started filling out the form that had to be notarized, without hearing what I had to say or understand what the need for the document is. I had the document duly printed that clearly mentioned two names, I told him that we would prefer to get an in-person notarisation done versus an online one, since that's the best form of validation. I requested for a hybrid arrangement, wherein I had my wife's documents in my possession and I would get my wife on a video call. He vehemently denied this and said that since there are two signatures I would need to pay for two documents, not one. I agreed to pay him for two documents, although Notary Pro's website says one document is one payment. Time being of the essence, I agreed to it. Even before the whole conversation began, he started clicking photographs of our personal ID documents on his personal cellphone device without even asking. Realising that this entire experience has been nowhere close to professional, I politely requested him to delete those documents to avoid potential misuse (over text message). To that he attempted to bully me asking for payment (for services not rendered) documents done, one appointment payment is due. (Will attach screenshots). I agreed to pay for it and he then directed me to David to get the payment done. He gave me a phone number to call that wasnt answered beyond an automated voice mail system. He went on to contradict his own colleague, when I heard from Notary Pro, when mentioned that since no documents are notarised no payment is due. This was an extreme bullying approach, wherein he was withholding my and my wife's personal ID documents, (I have the text message screenshots) without the payment being made and asking for a citation whether I have a right to privacy and protect my personal documents. Instead of apologising for this behavior he brazenly responded, asking me not to book an appointment with his office (I would go to the ends of the world, but not visit Eryk or his sorry office), which prompted me to register a complaint at the Law Society of Ontario. Update 18th April: The response to the review mentions about the "many falsehoods", (post legal advice), I will attach the screenshots for the exchange of text messages, in due course as a confirmation of professional misconduct and rude behaviour.
