The original building was constructed in 1911 in the town of Milden, Saskatchewan. It was later extended, in the 1940s, to include a stage and a small kitchen. During the 1970s, a further addition provided the convenience of washrooms, a new kitchen and a multipurpose room.
The building, originally, was a farm equipment showroom. Its many uses over the last 100 years also included a community hall, an Elks lodge, a church meeting place, and a senior citizens centre. In 2003, it was sold by public auction and purchased by the Riegerts. A year later, it was relocated to its present site, south of Saskatoon. It was moved in two sections, as the 85 foot building was too long to move in one piece. Over the next 8 years, the building was added onto, remodeled and restored. The result was the creation of Nostalgia Country Hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a country experience, then Nostalgia Hall, 5 minutes south of the city, will no doubt fill your wish. From a Marriage Commissioner's view, the chapel looked to seat around 90 or so, the hall probably the same, the kitchen appeared to be well equipped, all of these are off the large entrance/breakout area. Sadly the weather did not permit a wander around the grounds. Marilyn was a great hostess, very accommodating and was on site to answer any questions. If you are planning a smaller, cater your own event, certainly have a look at this venue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place. Awesome atmosphere! We attending a wedding here. This is the place you want to be for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, staff function, family reunion! So many beautiful spots for pictures! The Caterer that they recommended has everything homemade like fresh dinner rolls, perogies, full of flavor! Attention to detail! Personal touches to the hall with adorning antiques both inside and out! I can not say enough, you and your guest will have a memorable time!
