★ ★ ★ ★ ★ signs and new protocol are fairly easy to read but still you need to go there one time to see how the new process works other than that staff was fairly friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rating is not a reflection of the staff of this Staion.This rating reflects to poor engineering and design of this landfill. Its reflects the idea of building a garbage mountain that allows waste to be blown all over the surrounding areas including the local farm fields and adjacent waterways. It also reflects that despite the amount we pay within our taxes, we still have to pay not only to deliver our waste there for them, but now we pay the ever increasing base minimum of $13 to deposit recycling. And the annual 100kg dump vouchers were taken away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a bit of a wait, especially if you go early in the morning, but it goes pretty fast. Every container is well labeled for each item. Thank you to all of you at the Northumberland Landfill for all your hard work at keeping our County clean and safe. The Earth ? and all its inhabitants ??????? thank you for keeping our carbon footprints ? ? at a minimum. ? God bless. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to get to and pretty straight forward. Pull up get your vehicle weighed empty your garbage or whatever and head back to the scales. Pay on your way out is all contactless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just trying to get rid of used motor oil from doing oil changes at home. Hazardous waste is free to get rid of. You must weigh in and weigh out??? Ridiculous!!!!! was there 30 mins just to get in. No wonder there is so much garbage everywhere and people dumping hazardous materials. They make is so difficult for people to get rid of. Smart thing would have a separate line or area for quick drop off. Way to go northumberland!!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff but unfortunately they have to enforce the brain dead practise of making people line up to weigh in and out even for free materials. Half the cars with yard waste can’t even load the 509 kg that is free anyway. Went there on May long weekend. An hour to scale in and out for “ no charge”. 0n a F350 loaded with brush. What percentage of people with yard waste go over 500kg’s ? I am betting less than 2%!
