★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can not recommend North Okanagan Therapeutic riding enough! This program is absolutely amazing! My 4 year autistic son started with therapeutic riding last March. Prior to NOTRA our family had zero experience with horses. My son immediately bonded with his horse and his amazing instructor! Every week he could barely wait to go back! His horse had a very calming affect on him! NOTRA has also positively impacted our whole family! Our oldest son with ADHD/Anxiety disorder started to feel less anxiety and stress when he brushed and cared for the horse. I also found being around the horses helped with my stress and anxiety! Our family will continue to be part of NOTRA for years to come as I truly believe it has been so beneficial to all of us!
