★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely slow service department. Over 6 weeks to get my tractor serviced and repaired. 3 weeks waiting on parts and 3 weeks to install. Only get updates when you call looking for it. Sales department sold equipment based on 7 year warranty now apparently its only 3 years. Once I finally get it back it still leaks oil and loses air in tire, both of which were paid to have repaired

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dad and I dropped off his generator 5 weeks ago for repair. We were told it would be at least 3 weeks until he got time which is completely understandable in the summer months. After 4 weeks we continuously called for a few days looking for updates but no one picked up the phone. Finally someone picked up and told us Mitch would call us back, which he didn't. This morning we went and picked it up to find nothing done to it. No apology or acknowledgement that it had been sitting there with no work done. I understand its the busy season but to not give any care to the people who are waiting on their equipment is brutal.
We're already looking to buy a tractor for the winter season since my dad is getting up there in age and shouldn't be pushing his old one - we would've gone to North Gate and supported a local business if they weren't so careless in this situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my stihl ms311 in for a suspected ignition problem ,for $60 I got it back in pieces in a box and advised that it was irreparable, then a sales pitch to purchase a new saw.
I picked up a coil off Amazon for $27 and the saw has never run better.
First and last experience with Northgate

We first went to Kubota, then to KIOTI and our last stop was at North Gate Power Equipment to consider a John Deere. I was impressed by all three of these tractors. Our trust in Shawn GOODING (Sales Manager) at Northgate Power Equipment really won our allegiance. Having purchased numerous products through this company through Shawn GOODING, we had already established a great rapport and trust in this man and this company. We were up-front with Shawn and told him we’d been shopping for tractors at Kubota and Kioti. Shawn spoke highly of his competitors but in the end Shawn put together the package, product and price that fit our needs perfectly as he always does. Thanks Shawn for your consistent quality service and professionalism!
