They then held my car for ransom with huge unjustifiable fees and held the car for almost two weeks before releasing it to my insurance company. I wouldn’t trust North Country in any undertaking, under any circumstances.

They said sure drive it in really nice guys explained next oil change need to fix small leak. We originally called Ford dealership they turned us down , so good on this guys. We might just book repairs with them, when we come back up for visit
S	Steve Ball on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a very bad experience. I purchased a used vehicle from these guys. Even though it was certified when I drove it home for the first time there was a shudder from the front end when the brakes were applied. To their credit they said they would fix the problem. But here's the thing... I returned to their shop to have this issue resolved a total of 7 times from my home which is 45 minutes away - one way! In all those visits they never did fix the problem. I ended up spending over $120 for gas, $355 for parts I never needed and the initial issue was never fixed. I drove away for the final time feeling ripped off and extremely unsatisfied. With that said, the mechanic, who tried his best to get me sorted could not really move forward because of the restrictions of his boss. In the end being a "polite" Canadian I really didn't want to write a negative review but my experience there was just too frustrating to let it go. My advise is stay away.
C	Cat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need something more than an oil change or tire rotation go somewhere else! My vehicle was repeatedly returned to me with a claim it was fixed, but also mentioning another (supposed) problem that may need addressing. A couple of car starts later the exact same issue would occur. I had numerous parts changed only to have the SAME issue persist. The problem was never properly diagnosed resulting in A LOT of time and inconvenience, never mind the initial large bill with no actual improvement to my vehicle despite the multiple visits and multiple weeks of no vehicle. It is now in good hands and being worked on by competent mechanics. No thanks to North Country for the HUGE inconveniences. Never again.

Took three separate visits to fix gas issues. Was told we were arrogant after the gas leak in my truck returned three days after being "repaired". Totally destroyed any trust I had in mechanics. Will be going elsewhere in the future.

I left my car there and headed back to home in the Niagara region. They were incredibly helpful, made sure we got a cab to the via station, made sure we had water and some food if we needed it. This happened on a Friday, and my car was ready on Wednesday. They did an excellent job with the repairs and the price was very affordable. I would have them as my regular mechanic, but the 3 hour commute would make it difficult. On such a challenging and stressful day, their staff made all the difference, and we got home safe and sound.
