β β β β β Had a bit of a flood going on in basement on Sunday. Called LUK and they dispatched Dustin who came quite quickly to fix problem. Price was better than most the quotes I received in town, although Sundays do cost a bit more, was charged for only the time worked; no flat rate. Thanks for the awesome service Dustin

β β β β β Had Luk over twice in February for a "3-1" code. First fix lasted 10 days after a night call out fee of $140 plus shop fees and fuel of $25 for 20 minutes of diagnostics. They didn't have the part so they came back the next day and installed it for another $90 labour for the 5 minutes spent in the house. As mentioned, 10 days later the same code came up and the furnace quit. Checked online and saw their business hours as 10am-2pm on Saturday so I called them up and they came and got things going. The sheet metal guy that did the work was very pleasant and worked hard to solve the problem for us (Thank you!) however after receiving the bill and seeing that I was charged the emergency service rate of $140 plus another shop and fuel fee of $25 plus the part. I managed to negotiate for the regular shop rate of $90 as the advertising indicated they were open and the administrative staff that answered the phone never informed me that I would be charged the emergency rate. Needless to say the technicians have been pleasant and professional while on the job however the billing and lack of breakdown in the fees is rather discouraging. I now see that they have removed Saturday as a regular business day on Google, which should save other customers from the experience I had.
