Noble Construction - Esterhazy

Noble Construction Corp is owned by NorthStar Capital Ltd, which is a corporate partner of File Hills Qu’Appelle Developments (FHQD). These partnerships, Topa Contracting and Pathway Supply, allow Noble the ability to subcontract and purchase through First Nations owned businesses. By supporting our affiliated companies, we in turn support the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council and the eleven-member nations that create the ownership of FHQD. 

Noble has created a strong Diversity and Inclusion Program which focuses on the employment of women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, and First Nations people. Working together with Tokata HR Solutions, we are able to connect with qualified First Nations people looking for opportunities in our province. We have also recognized the importance that training plays in bridging people with the right opportunities. This recognition has led to Kevin Kirkwood, Noble Construction's Human Resources Manager, being appointed to the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies steering committee. Noble Construction is now able to aid in the development of First Nations training initiatives that will enable First Nations people to be better prepared as they move into employment opportunities, not only in mining, but in any sector they choose.

Noble Construction is extremely proud of our approach to First Nations engagement and how we have progressed over the past years. We have seen some initiatives that have not always provided success, but we have used those instances as learning opportunities to ensure we continue to move in the right direction. We truly believe that by taking small steps and creating strong relationships in both First Nation government and local communities we will continue to make a meaningful impact.
