Very kind and accommodating managers, clean building and private suites where I have never heard a neighbour.

Good apartment. Great resident manager. Apartment comes with dishwasher and heating/cooling. I'm surprised they don't have Telus fiber connected to their building though, hopefully they do it soon.

I really dislike leaving reviews like this, but I really wish someone had warned me before signing a lease at this place. This building does not provide an acceptable quality of living for the cost. You'd be better off in an SRO. The building itself is fine and the suites are fairly standard, the residental managers are nice and I wish I could give bonus points there. However the building management doesn't care at all about the wellbeing of their tenants or basic quality of living in this building. Ever since I moved in, this building has been in a constant state of heavy renovations. Its been several months already and theres no end in sight. While this is normally a reasonable thing. The building insists on the loudest portion of these renovations occuring from 8am-12. This means every single day you awake to the sound of drilling that shakes your whole apartment and continues constantly for hours. My partner is a first responder and has started suffering badly mentally. Imagine working a 12 hour nightshift saving lives and when you get home all you want to do is sleep so you can work your next shift, but instead your greeted by furious drilling all day throughout the only possible sleeping hours. This results in being a sleepless mess that can hardly function by the end of the week. Imagine being stuck working at home due to covid and being stuck with excessive drilling all day. The noise itself is loud enough to fully penetrate through industrial ear protectors, and loud enough that you cant even have a conversation with your housemate, let alone trying to have a work meeting or even hear yourself think. After waking up in the most disruptive way at the crack of dawn. You sit and stew in the endless noise all day while try to possibly have a work meeting or phonecall. You'd think during a pandemic they would be trying to help people get through, but instead they make living here an absolute hell, and we're all starting to suffer mentally. We started staying at a hotel several nights during the week so we at least have some peace. Since the drilling stops in the afternoon, us and other tenants have asked that they possibly ask the contractors to push the drilling a bit later so people can sleep, but haven't received any reasonable responses. What ever happened to the right to quiet enjoyment? If you work nights, or from home, or just enjoying the option to sleep past 8. This place isn't for you. Consider yourself warned.
