Nibblers Fish and Chips

If you are looking for crispy fish and quick service, you will be disappointed. We arrived at 12 and ordered walleye and cod. There are about 4 groups before us. Our food is ready around 35 minutes later. The walleye is fresh and cod is so so. Both fish are soft and not crispy as expected. Btw, chefs were not wearing masks.

Stopped for a quick lunch on our way through the area. We each had a fish burger which was excellent. Well cooked and tasty. The fries were great too. There was a nice little address with picnic tables which was perfect for our stop.

Definitely stop for a fish & chips with fresh walleye from Lake Huron - flaky, perfectly crispy, huge portion. Picnic tables for eating. Portapotties on-site.

Great fish and chips and burgers. Amazing fries! We ate here coming and going on our boat trip. Both times I had the cheese burger. Delish! Two small patties w cheese, toppings and a soft bun. I love burgers and this one was a thumbs up. The fries are delicious and HUGE. A small is enough for two. Fresh cut and a good oil made for a perfect fry. I got onion rings the second time. They were very good and huge portion, but I missed the fries. My girlfriend got fish both times. There were 2-3 different prices for the fish and she got the cheaper of the group. It was excellent. A sea gull thought the same and stole an entire piece when we wernt looking! The most expensive cut was too pricy for a quick lunch, but I wish we could have tried it. We also had the fried mushrooms. They were very good, and a large serving. But I still think the fries beat all. We saw other customers get the poutine. Looked and smelled delicious. I wish we could have tried it. Thanks and we will be back next time we come to Spanish.

I gave them 3 stars because they were super quick and it was pouring rain out. They were kind. Food was good. We spent $60 for 3 large (LARGE) fries & one piece of fish with fries. It just seems pricey when it was basically just fries. Never been there before that day .. maybe we just didn't know how to order. ?‍♀️

Absolutely wonderful customer service. Brian was so accommodating for us placing an order before arriving in town on route from Thunder Bay. Hot, delishish and fresh pickerel was to die for! Huge portion of fries and excellent coleslaw! Strongly recommend stopping here on your way through! Even gave us some treats for our pups! ? Thanks again Brian!

Delicious and HUGE portions! I get the kids meal so I can at least put a dent in it! Staff is outstanding as well, always polite and happy ? kids on left, my husband's on right ???

The walleye was pretty good. The batter was decent. The fries however, is where this place stands out. They were amazing. The layout for the chip stand is also really well done. Order in the front and pick up the back.
