PLEASE READ RIGHT TO THE END! This was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Do not order from here! There was a long hair rolled into my fresh rolls. There was a hair in the other container. The ginger beef had zero sauce and was hard and old. The almond chicken was hard. There was no sauce for the deep fried shrimp and the deep fried shims was hard. We called and spoke to the owner for 20 mins who told us that they did not have to wear hairnets. That hairnets are not mandatory, so they do not wear them. This statement was repeated many times while being incredibly rude to us. Please spread the word. If I could give zero stars I would, but I cannot. I will be calling the health authority though. This was and $83.00 meal that was not eaten!

As of today we finally find the best Chinese food restaurant in the city. Their chicken dishes is so tasty, and the noodles are just cooked in the right timer. Pick up is really fast and everything is just about the right temperature, will definitely mark it down as my favourite and only place to order again.

This was a solid place to get food back in the day. Recently every time I've ordered they haven't cooked the shrimp fully. Could be good but it's a gamble.

If I could give this place a Zero I would! We used skip the dish to order our food which came to over $100 We collected and made our way home which is an hour out of town! When we got home half our order was missing! I phoned them and got told by the owner that she had personally packed the order and we were lying! Absolutely terrible service!! We will never use this place again!!!!

If I could give less than zero stars I ABSOLUTELY would. Could not eat, shrimp smelled like stinky feet, made me gag, as did the rest of our order. Should have read reviews first. My bad. Those that said it was gross and WORST FOOD EVER were so right!!! Not sure how you can eff up plain rice, but somehow they managed to do it Congratulations! NEVER ORDER FROM HERE That is all.

Really bad and tasteless food. Ordered beef and brocolli and the sauce was so watery it was running off the food. The fish sauce tasted like if was cut with water. We also ended up with mild food poisoning after eating it. Horrible experience. Never ordering again

We ordered a meal for 10 people on Christmas Eve, and the taste surprised me, especially the spring rolls and ginger beef. I liked it very much, and the portion was large. Our whole family ate very well and it was very good. Will order again next time.

In last 6 months, quantity served went down a LOT. We've ordered from New Red Lantern for 2-3 years as our main Chinese food restaurant. Very good egg foo young, main staple chinese food that isn't done well at many of the Thai/Vietnamese restaurants in Saskatoon. Had to down-rate due to the portion sizes now. The restaurant pulled its 10% off pick-up orders over $$ discount during covid which is completely understandable (despite it still being promoted on their menu/receipts still two years later). For the portion sizes, this isn't a one-off situation, as I waited until we ordered 3 times over the last ~3-4 months now. For many of the dishes that are strictly like meat dishes or meat + veggie dishes, now they seem to be coming in the same take-out container but being barely enough to have a full single layer in the dish. This is probably 40% less than you'd get before. Generally every container would have the sauce on the top of the lid from the contents. Now there was not a one container that really had any sauce built on the top of the lid. The egg foo young seemed normal, the deep fried stuff seemed the same, but pretty much everything else felt like it was consistently halved. If inflation and everything else is having the ingredients cost more, then you'd raise prices. Simply doing the 'shrinkflation' doesn't work when a 'Dinner for 6 is going to struggle feeding 4 people at a cost of $90 tax-in. The picture might be tough to see the food levels, but literally the sweet and sour pork barely had enough in the container to make a single layer of food. This picture would generally feed 5-6 people comfortably, at a cost of ~$90 tax-in. This time around we were struggling to have 3-5 little pieces of the meat to feed two adults and two kids <8. If I am ordering $90 and 7 dishes, I would expect I would be able to comfortably feed 2 adults and 2 kids and have leftovers. Not having to ration out any meat-stuffs and non-noodle/rice dishes. Again, the food is still good and consistent, but prepare to have to order near 25-50% more than you'd think (and it isn't really 'cheap' even as it is) to make sure there is enough food.
