★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comments about Arena only: Dressing rooms are very spacious with showers (2) and bathroom shared with adjacent dressing room. Wifi was good, I was able to live stream hockey game to grandma and grandpa. Parking lot was spacious. Seats are on second level and are unheated. The cafeteria was closed when we were there so I can't comment. Enjoyed the "Spectator Code of Conduct" - "#5 You and your child do not play for the Flames." Haha!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sportsplex doesnt seem like its changed much over the years. Still a great spot with two sheets of ice, gymnasium, a restaurant that has viewing for both rinks and a partial view of the gym.
The staff at the concession are very friendly and have a number of options for snacks and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a little Annoying that the locker room is always closed that connects to the men's washroom I always go in there and getting to my gear for flower looking and basketball and everytime I'm there it's locked and closed and it gets annoying they should just keep it open who cares if it's covid just sanitize it after

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is certainly one of the best arenas in the city. I was the DJ for the U16 AAA Northstars, and the sound system was absolutely stellar. The building is older, but well-maintained. Staff are friendly, and the facility is clean. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars is due to a lack of washrooms. In the whole facility, there's only 4 urinals and 2 stalls for men. This is nowhere near enough to support two arenas, a gym, and a bar. Other than that, it's tremendous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NESS: Don Hartman North East Sportsplex has been one of my favorite areas in Calgary to go to for years form there awesome indoor hockey rinks and just great seating ? letting you enjoy all your rink side action or if you are feeling like a bite to eat and a beer we'll watching the game head up stairs to the sports lounge for a nice cold beer on tap and hot deep frid pickles. And more as in the basket ball court and fitness studio
