★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered one sheet of 5x10 MDF and asked Nelson Lumber to cut it into 4 pieces. They said they had the sheet in stock. I went and paid for it and gave them the instructions to cut it. So far it has been a week and I still haven’t received my MDF. I have been told they are swamped and every time I call to inquire about the status, am told it will be done today. Honestly it is getting a little ridiculous now. Apparently they received a large order and the GM said to stop all other orders for that. Is that great customer service? I should have ordered from somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carrie at the High River office has been an absolutle dream to deal with! Our custom home buying experience started out incredibly stressful and expensive with a different builder in southern Alberta. Carrie has gone above and beyond to help us plan our dream home. I strongly recommend skipping those other guys and just go with Nelson Homes. Your time and money is better spent here!! Excited to be in our home next year!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have owned a nelson home for 8 years (even the sticker in the back closet says 2013). However, when my shingles stated FALLING OFF this year, they refused to offer any warranty saying my home was over 10 years old ?!?!?!When I had a roofing company come by to check it out, they were appalled at the shoddy workmanship. Thanks for nothing nelson homes, you just cost me $ 12,000.
