★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No over night parking otherwise would have given a 5 star rating. We stayed a few hours and fished in the river. A nice out of the way place to take a peaceful rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This parking lot is ideal to enjoy the Ottawa River pathway that runs all along the river from Hiawatha Park to Rockcliffe park.. Its a very long and scenic pathway which you can enjoy by foot, bike, Rollerblade, or ski in the winter. in the winter its part of the Ski heritage East program. The path is well kept and isolated from the street noise. You can fish from the shore, enjoy the birds and wildlife along the way. There are few parking lots along the path but not may, this one allows you the longest route on the path.
