They will exist as long as there are phone numbers.
I found that Samsung devices are able to block these numbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This company has called me 4 times in the last 2 days and no one ever answers. I've had many calls from research companies and this is by far the worst. Finally when somebody answers there's a whole bunch of yelling in the background so you can't hear what the person is asking.
