The sod itself was great... but they promised it for 10am, and it didn't show up until 6:00pm. I had to call them twice, one at 11:00 and once at 1:30- both times they said it would be there in 3 hours. Now it has been over 2 months and I have contacted them at least 10 times, they still haven't sent me a receipt. Won't even get back to me anymore.

Unreal customer service. Owner is super friendly and staff was great. Cheapest sod Ive found and the quality was great. I picked some up myself in my truck and forgot tie down straps so they just have me one. Don't know why you would go anywhere else.

Worst sod company out there. Customer Service is non existent. Their website says customer satisfaction is priority. I called them 4 times, Left voice messages, 2 emails and when I finally got through (on the phone) I was told to text the information. 5messages later I still have not heard back from them. Ended up spending twice as much with a company that gave GREAT customer service. Stay far away from this company.

Product is mediocre. About half the pallets were good but the other half were out for too long and were very dry and yellow, but salvageable. Price is good though and I think it's ok for the money. I'm leaving one star because of my second dealing with them. I didn't water a small part of my lawn properly and wanted to replace about 10 pieces. Called hoping to arrange a purchase and pick up, and was told very rudely that small orders are not accepted, and also was insulted for calling the pieces 'rolls' instead of 'flats'. Reiterated that I'm an existing customer with cash in hand willing to pay extra to get the same grass blend. Was again insulted for attempting to make a small order. Never again.

After calling around to many different places I found that their prices were 10 cents cheaper ($0.25) than most places. My parents used them years ago and said the product was great. I now see why its so cheap. When it got delivered there were lots of weeds and clover in it. It was also slightly dry. Another friend of mine ordered from Big lake sod the same day and between the two lawns you can see the difference. The machine used to cut his was sharp and made nice edges where as mine has blunt rolled over edges making it hard to place together. His is lush and green and mine is yellowed and looks half dead. If your looking to save a few hundered bucks during install this is a decent place. That being said Ill be over-seeding and fertilizing heavily into the fall.

guy who runs this business is a joke. Deserves nothing but zero star review and solid slap on the face. I don't recommend dealing with him at all! Never return phone calls and constantly changing his story. His incompetency delayed my project for over 2 weeks!

This company is extremely unprofessional. Do not waste your time and look elsewhere even if it means spending a few extra dollars. My fiancé gave this company a call last Friday to schedule sod delivery. The lady was super friendly. She told us we couldn't get sod for Saturday, but told us Sunday was available, so we scheduled for Sunday at noon. She was actually out of town at the time, so she gave us the owner, Rob's number to use as a contact. Sunday at noon comes, no sod. 12:30, 12:45, 1:00 still nothing. No message from Rob. So my fiancé sends him a text just to ask what the status was. Finally replies later on, stating they were having problems, and that our sod wouldn't be delievered until "for sure 10:00 AM, Monday morning". Things happen, we get it. Monday morning rolls around, no sod again. 11:27 AM, my fiancé calls Rob, no answer. So he calls the lady, and she looked into it as best as she could. We find out that Rob claimed to have had delivered it to us, and accused us of lying about it. We have cameras on our property, so that was obviously not the case, and we also hadn't paid him yet. The lady and my fiancé continued throughout the early afternoon to get ahold of Rob with no success to see what the status of our delivery was again. By 2:00 PM, we were both naturally pretty upset, and so my fiancé texted Rob, saying that if he didn't have a response by 3:00, we would take our business elsewhere. Rob finally responded, with "k". My fiancé asked if our sod was actually going to be delievered today so he could have a straight answer, and Rob responded with "no" and then blocked my fiancé's number immediately after. We were more than willing to give this company our business, as well as future business through many other people we know who are also currently looking to do their landscaping. Thankfully Rob's lack of professionalism and knowledge of basic customer service skills saved us from wasting our money. We are more than happy to take our business elsewhere.

Great sod! I was a bit concerned picking up sod from them after reading some of the reviews but I figured since I wasn't using it in the yard I would roll the dice. Glad I did as I got great sod for a great price!! Don't really understand some of these bad reviews. Maybe they had a couple of bad batches and their good reviews are underrepresented. Who knows. All I know it's I'm happy I rolled the dice and used them!
