Very professional, and friendly. Is sanitary and clean and tattoo artist Kurtis has done a great job on my tattoos. Would recommend him and going back for another one.

NOT COOL I lost $100 here, that I left as a deposit in good faith with the intent of getting a tattoo (it was to fix and colour an old tattoo on my leg). But that work never got done. I e-transferred $100 to Mystic Crystal Tattoos to hold a November 6 appointment with Gabriel after meeting a lady who had one of his tattoos that I liked, and she told me she got it here at Mystic. I had no idea at the time of transferring my money to Mystic Crystal Tattoos that Gabriel was about to quit and that Mystic would put the onus on me to track him down to follow through with our appointment, but that's what happened after the original date of November 6 was moved twice: once by Mystic earlier to September (hindsight tells me it’s because Gabriel was quitting before my November 6 appointment) and then again by me, but not until Gabriel emailed back confirming that would be fine, he would be back as a guest in January and would do me then. I agreed to January, but here's when I started getting the runaround in my attempt to firm up a date in January, including ignored texts and email, except Gabriel did reply via text once in mid-December to again confirm “sometime in January”. End of January rolls along (Jan27) and I again text Gabriel who has a case of amnesia about who I am, claiming that he never had a record of me because I had not left him a deposit, rather, it had gone to Mystic Crystal Tattoos. At this point I had wanted my deposit refunded. Gabriel texts he is fine with reimbursing me but would have to talk to Mystic. Mystic says no they will not refund my money (offered me an appointment instead with someone else in 8 months that didn’t work for me, besides, I specifically put $100 down on Gabriel for my own preferential reasons). So Gabriel offers me a January 31 appointment at noon at Mystic Crystal Tattoos, confirmed by Mystic who then forwards to Gabriel the photo references and questions I had initially sent to Mystic Crystal Tattoos with my deposit about the work I wanted done. But when I was half way to Melville that morning (it's over 2 hours from my home to Mystic Crystal Tattoos), I receive a message cancelling my appointment, so I turned around and drove back home. Mystic Crystal Tattoos informed me that this is not their responsibility because Gabriel no longer works for them and that Gabriel has my money. So in a nutshell: Gabriel says Mystic has my money and Mystic says Gabriel has my money and I'm out $100. I have waited a month for someone to return my money, but nothing. And come to think of it, not once did anyone ever give me feedback with respect to the questions and photos I submitted on booking here to confirm whether my tattoo work could be done as I envisioned: appears that this (easy) money was more important. So much for supporting the local tattoo parlor (or did I?). lol
