I am writing this review based on our experience. My brother had his braces done at this place from previous ortho. They sold there practice and now :( This place is horrible. Customer service I will give 0. They do not return phone calls. They do not care about their customers who are paying so much money to get their teeth fixed. Today we called three times and only answering machine no one pick up the phone or return the call. I do not write review but I had to do it so other people can not go thru what my brother is going thru.

As of May 17, 2022, I am whole-heartedly telling you to please save your money and go somewhere else. I have been coming here since 2012 when it was owned by Dr. Aly Kanani. I have to admit this place was amazing compared to how it is run now by myOrthodontist. The first problem is the owner owns a bunch of practices across western Canada, so you end up seeing a different dentist everytime. Each dentist takes a different approach and none of their treatment goals line up. One dentist will want to shift your teeth down, next dentist will want to shift them up. I got Invisalign in June 2020, the Invisalign made my teeth worse off than when I started (I’m not going to solely blame the practice for this). They then suggested I get braces on the top. I agreed on the consensus that I would be done in 8 weeks. Upon getting them on they said I would need to come in for a check-up appointment in 4-8 weeks. No appointments were available for 9 weeks. After the 9 week check-up the dentist said it would be another 3-4 months before I get them off. He is trying to shift teeth outward that the last dentist shifted inward. I have very low expectations of having a nice smile at the end of this. I don’t even think they will come off in 3-4 months. There are also different receptionists every time I go in. All are super rude. One hung up on me when I tried to confirm when my next appointment was. Reception won't answer my calls now. Another thing, don’t book an appointment on a Friday. Every appointment I have ever booked on a Friday has had to be changed because they didn’t realize they were closed that day or a dentist won’t be in. Usually they call you and tell you 2 weeks before and you can’t reschedule your appointment for another 2 months because everything’s booked up. Lastly, don’t be late. I had an appointment at 4:15. By 4:16 I had walked up the stairs in the office and they had already called my dad complaining I was late. Not even sure why they’re calling my dad when I don’t live with him and I’ve told them multiple times to take that number off the file. And what’s wrong with being a minute late when you have to wait in the waiting room anyways.

Before the new owner took over this place was hands down one the best. Now the owner took over it went the drain fast. My GF was suppose to have her braces off this year in Feb 2022, for whatever the reason it got delayed and its June 1st. This firm purposely ignore my GF call and did a awful job on her braces to the point that the elastic broke and haven't fixed until May 2022 and that was using my number to book a time. To the owner reading this, it's time to hire some professionals because now that my GF is transfered to another location they instantly booked her in. Smarting up with this location the staff here is unprofessional and not helpful one bit.

This place is fantastic. From my consult to my initial appointment everyone has been so sweet and accommodating. Amit did my consult and recommenced a treatment plan that will work best for me and not what would be expensive and have a long duration to benefit them. The cdas are patient and check in with you during long and short appointments if you’re feeling ok. Luana did my scan and photos and did an amazing job. I also brought my boyfriend to this place to start treatment and it’s been a blast!

As of March 28, 2022, I do not recommend you go here. This place is running off the previous' owner's reputation and work; the practice was bought from Dr. Aly Kanani of Guildford Orthodontics Centre. This practice is now part of a bigger orthodontics franchise, a business model that prioritizes earning profits over patience experience. During my appointments, the wait times were long, sometimes reaching over 40 minutes. For regular appointments, instead of the usual 4-6 week visit interval, they would stretch this out to 8 weeks or more, effectively extending your treatment time to at least twice the original plan. I have been wearing my braces since July 2019. Initially, I was given a 1.5 year treatment time . During this time, I followed every treatment guidelines they gave me and attended to every appointment. It is now March 2022 and I still do not have a clear timeline for my braces removal. For more time consuming procedures, they would not even book you for over 2 months, which is currently happening to me. I still do not have a booked appointment for a realignment even though my last appointment was on January 2022. Their excuse was that there is a special team that performs these procedures on a specific day, implying that their current orthodontists on-site are not trained to handle procedures other than routine check-up. I am stuck with this branch as I already paid-off my entire balance. I implore you to look for different orthodontics practices who values your time.

We love Guildford Ortho!!! They’re super accommodating, incredibly friendly, and always make sure my daughter is comfortable. We moved away half way through our daughters treatment but couldn’t get ourselves to go somewhere else! We make the commute because they’re just THAT good. Definitely worth it!

Very welcoming when walking into the clinic. I am always seen at my appointment time so I don't really need to wait for long. Everything was good until I was getting up to leave & was asked if I was pregnant in which I responded 'No' & then the staff replied 'Oh, sorry. I was taken back as why would you ask that question after my appointment was over. I can understand if you needed to know as part of my treatment or whatnot so at the start of my appointment, but why ask randomly. So I was not very impressed. Overall the actual appointment went smoothly.

We have contacted many placed to get our daughters' braces done but they are either over priced or simply not customer oriented when it comes to customer service. We are so excited to hear of this place via the radio. After a friendly consultation, we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you for making both of our daughters feel so comfortable in their transition into their braces. Oh. FYI, Jeanette is THE BEST!
