F	Faisal Lokhandwala on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started a biz 2 weeks ago needed something urgently googled cash and carry and found this place.. after reaching realized membership is mandatory so was directed to customer service.. Waited for almost 20 mins .. when approached told this lady about registration only to be rudely told back that “you ppl need to come early we don’t do registration only until 330 on Saturday” and it was 3:35 telling her that I waas waiting in line for 20 mins miffed her more and she said it wasn’t her problem.. “you ppl need to come early” ( ‘you ppl’ by the way are ur customers not some aliens) had to plead her to give me a day pass since I want to urgently by sleeves and coffee filters. Not upset because url don’t accept registrations after 3:30 but because the staff was angry as if I was begging for something.. ??

Be careful when shopping there, the for item can raise from 5-10 dollars for one visit or 10-15 dollars for next visit!!! They play with the price sign for every visit almost! And check your fruit especially mostly they areotten!!!

I was in there today and “Sandi with an I” was very quick to inform me that my membership had expired and unless I can provide all the documentation required for a membership that I could not shop. She was very short and aggressive with me, she treated me like I was not legitimate, should not be there, and trying to pull a fast one. Which I wasn’t - just not aware the new rules. I felt like she was convinced I was doing personal shopping instead of business shopping - which was not the case. Not knowing the new rules I already had a full flat bed, and was quite upset. As per Sandi if I did not have all my paperwork available I could not purchase the $1000 + of groceries that was on my cart. When I used to shop at MVR they just started heir membership - they hardly even checked for membership let alone turning away customers who did not have one. Instead of offering me a day pass like her colleague nicely did - she just told me that I wouldn’t be able to shop there which really rubbed me the wrong way instead of being compassionate for caterers and companies that have not operated for time because of the pandemic she wanted to penalize me and tell me that all the time i spent pulling product was wasted. Just wish they were nicer, and more customer focused. It will be hard to give them my business, as convenient as they are.

Vegetables prices are very low compared to other stores. Seasonal items are also great deals. Parking is never a problem. They now offer delivery services.

They carry essentially everything I have ever needed when shopping for an Italian restaurant and another point in time a deli. The location is pretty convenient, even when coming from east of Toronto (Durham region). The staff is also always helpful and willing to help find anything you need, even if that means calling over another employee to help. The business is NOT open to the public and requires a business # to obtain a membership. But if you can provide this MVR is a great tool to support your business.

Packaging is typically in large format and/or by the case. The prices appear to be somewhat reasonable. Only two down sides are if you're looking for something in small quantities then you may be out of luck. Plus while there is plenty of parking out, it doesn't appear to be in proportion to the side size of the store.
