Second time using this location.....great service from Nick, Khalid and supervision by Jason. Moved from west Ottawa to Clarence and these guys are in a great spot for me. They work as a team, though most of the work on my truck seems to be done by Nick. My vehicle is on road 10 hours a day, 6 days a week for work, so I need thorough, professional service by competent guys who respect my time. These guys check all the boxes, and manage to be pleasant too. I appreciate that they aren"t solely focused on upselling to increase the bill as some lube places are. At the same time, they manage to point out things that will need to be done to keep my vehicle in peak condition. I need frequent oil changes, so I am really glad I found these guys... They have my appreciation and thanks, and I can 100% recommend Mr. Lube St. Laurent to others who want to look after their vehicles.

UPDATE: Won't be back. Sad that I had to update this and downgrade this place, which previously impressed me. I'm guessing service is hit or miss so don't go out of your way and line up like I did today for an hour's wait here. You can get the same service from any of these places else closer to home. After a good fix on their part five months ago (they'd put in faulty spark plugs and changed them after I'd had nothing but trouble for a month) Today I went in for an oil change, tires, and fluids change (transmission and manual shift). Google told me my glowing review had been read well over 1000 times in the first month. Today I asked for an 8% discount on a $436 bill to round down to 400 to acknowledge the month I'd endured with the faulty spark plugs, which only showed on the highway (complete loss of compression, no cruise). They'd given me the same discounts as they give everyone for the fluids ($30 total on $$415 before tax). I told them I was disappointed and that I'd be updating this. They were very busy, but the manager didn't even make eye contact or offer an acknowledging smile, even though I tried to get his attention. So I hope the extra $36 today was worth losing the goodwill and loyal customer they'd earned and whatever this review costs them. I'd also sent several people directly, telling them these guys were 'different' from other box shops. I was wrong. They're not. I'll keep looking for a mechanic worth sticking with.

Super professional staff that went above and beyond. Had three flat tires and the managed to fix everything for us under two hours and informed us through the process and what our options were. Super happy with their service. 10/10 would recommend

My experience with Mr. Lube +Tires on St Laurent Blvd Ottawa. Using this company was my first, and OMG, how bad can a company be? I was in there for an oil and filter change, and I saw that they service tires. I wanted to have my rims balanced because I had a slight vibration when driving on the highway, so I figured to have them rebalanced. To start, the inexperienced young mechanic used the wrong socket and tried to ratchet out my lock nuts without the special lock socket. After many minutes of hearing the machine grind away at my bolts, they finally got the rims off. They rebalanced my rims, which concerned me because the young man did not pay much attention to cleaning the inner part of my rim before gluing the weights on, and there was dirt and dust. Back on the truck goes the rims. When they balanced them, they removed some plastic spacer disks needed on custom rims, which they forgot to re-install, so I asked the young mechanic about it, and he answered my boss told me that once you remove these spacers, you don't need them anymore! I confronted the assistant manager about that, and it turned out that they needed to take the rims off again and re-install them with the spacers. Now I'm getting nervous and annoyed with this company. One nut after the other, they work much longer than it usually takes, starting to see this 2 hour's horrible experience coming to an end or maybe not! The assistant manager Richard tells me that they stripped one nut, which is a problem, and then he tells me that good employee are hard to find, and that right now, they are short-staffed. After discussing with the assistant manager, he offered to order new lugs; however, I'm off on a trip the next day and need this repaired now. I paid my bill, but they still insisted that I pay for my balancing. I now head out to a specialty shop to have my lug change. I'm at a rim specialist to try to extract this striped nut! The tire specialist just finished with my truck 45 minutes later; it turns out that 12 out of 20 nuts were stripped, and out of those 12, 3 of my locking nuts were damaged because of using a regular ratchet without the special key. I am going back to try to get a re-reimbursement for my $ 85.00 charge from Sipan, which did a fantastic job at extruding these striped nuts. I just received a confirmation from the manager that they will reimburse the extruding and nut replacement bill; however, this experience was not fantastic, to say the least, for the tire service. The following day the drama continues! Driving on Hunt club in an 80 KM zone, the vibration comes back twice as bad as it was. It turns out the balancing weights that were installed unglued themselves, and now I have two rims with no weights causing the bad vibration. I can't complain about the oil change service; however, I don't recommend them for any tire service on any vehicle; they are just not qualified. I hope this review is used for training purposes and helps you, the readers, decide whether to use or not this company, and I can vouch that I won't ever again. I now wish I could get a credit for the $ 79.96 balancing charge I paid which was useless to say the least. 01/06/2022

I needed a place for an oil change & winter tires installed without the need for an appointment. Mr. Lube fit the bill. The wait was under an hour. They were upselling higher quality oils & transmission fluid changes but not in a pushy or high sales tactic type of way. (Transmission fluid change was long overdue so had that done even though the winter tires were the main reason I was there.) You wait in the vehicle so have something to keep you occupied. Very satisfied with their service.

Amazing service. We went in as we thought our tires needed balancing after a tire change was done at our dealership.. the service tech immediately noticed that one of our tires was loose and the rim was damaged. They replaced our tire with our spare and were amazing when it came to cost and making sure we took pictures for evidence etc. Thank you so much guys!

Reasonable prices and very good service. The change of tires was on a "first come, first service" basis. I waited in line for a bit less than an hour, they offered me coffee and then they serviced my car with me inside. Everything went well and they were nice and attentive.
