Moving V.I.P Express

I have used VIP express demenagement in end of 2020 for a moving from a condo to a house. I can say that I have only very good words for the way that my moving had occured. I have selected the option with three movers as I was moving from a condo situated on the six floor of a building with an elevator, little space to move around and extremely exigent condo rules. The movers arrived within the defined timeframe and I was called 30 minutes before. The amount I have paid for my move was reasonably within the amount I have previously evaluated for this move. I was required to pay cash but I have received an invoice and there was no hidden fees or tip pre-included or considered on the financial charges. The movers were respectful and professional. Yes, they took some small cigarette breaks, but not abusing and understandable, considering the physical nature of the job they are performing. Yes, I have been asked to pay the invoice prior to the furniture unload from the truck at the final destination, but I do not see any problem as the time charged on the invoice was properly evaluated and a final check is done before they left the premises to ensure that everything is in order. Also, the employees had masks considering the current COVID-19 environment. Also, during the moving, due to the some challenges to little space to turn around, I had experienced a small bump on my French door refrigerator at the end. This was discovered at the last turn-around after final discharge and after I paid. Nevertheless, once the issue was discovered, the invoice was corrected for this and signed and the employees apologized for this damage. Thereafter I have issued a complaint with the office for this damage and the office was extremely responsive. My complaint was treated with high professionalism by Mr Yves and Mr JB and in a timely manner. They managed everything and ordered a new replacement door for my fridge which was delivered and installed by a qualified technician. I will definitely use again this moving company for my future moves and I would gladly recommend them to my entourage for their needs for moving, without hesitation.

Very hard workers, handles your furniture with care, and are fast and efficient. Recommend this company for any of your moves. 5 stars.

Angelo Sylvain and Charlie were all 3 so helpful, responsive, professional and extremely polite and careful. Hardworking and meticulous. Thank you for being there when most needed and congratulations for your hardwork, self-respect and respect for your clients.

the two men who came to move us where in their 60s and not to be ageist but they were slow and we had to help them actively empty the truck so it wouldn’t take hours more. they literally called us down to get the last boxes from the truck. payment was unnecessarily complicated. was told by phone the morning of that we could pay by etransfer once the move was done. was then told by movers themselves that if we pay by e-transfer it’ll end up costing more because the time it takes for them to receive the transfer would be counted. went off to take out money to pay cash, to come back and be told that the total price was almost 100$ more than said initially and had to go back and take out more money. i see why this company is rated the way it is and would not recommend anyone doing business with them.

Just to tell our history briefly: We booked a moving with a company named: Déménagement Laval..and paid them in advance.. They were supposed to come at 8:00 in the morning, but did not show up, we called they said 9:00, we called at 9:30, they threatened if we call again they will not come!!! Come 10:30, they showed up, Ali and 2 other young men...they were disrespectful and condescending, they took a tour of the condo and asked that we sign for the travel that we paid for as a deposit and then advised that they only move wrapped boxes!!! No furniture and no amenities!!! I said how come and how come you are still charging for travel being late, they turned their back and left…they just disappeared, « stole » our money and gone..and didn’t respond to our calls afterwards.. After that we called VIP Exress and i Think we made the best decision ever. They decided to help us given how we were trapped and they sent us a crew of 3. Angelo..Sylvain..and charlie u were our 3 angels today… please All people who are reading this comment don’t hesitate for a second choosing this company especially : Angelo..Sylvain and charlie.. 3 respectfull and hardworking men.. No word can describe how much we r lucky to have u today.. Wish you all the best in your life.. we won’t forget what u did for us.

We had to get a very last minute move of our refrigerator that we purchased from Brault and Martineau, up to the third floor. The delivery men from the store refused to bring the fridge upstairs, insisting that it would not fit in the stairway. We contacted VIP, Angelo and Sylvain showed up and within 15 mins, got our fridge up to the 3rd floor with no issues or damages. We were more than greatful for their prompt service, and friendly personality with us to get the job done.

I saw some comments regarding tips in here and I still dealt with them. I asked specifically on the phone if this tip story was still going on, and they said not anymore. But surprise when they arrived, one of the movers started to insist on it and ask me twice to give “good tips”, “up to 15% at my discretion” I also had to helped them with some furnitures because service was rather low in addition. Driver was polite, and they were cautious with the furniture tho.
