★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful launch site. The road up mountain 7 is in very good condition for a narrow mountain road, I'd say its car friendly. The last 200m of road to the very top of the mountain is quite steep with very limited parking up top. I'd recommend you park in the parking lots just below it and walk up like most do. This mountain is littered with hiking and biking trails as well! I was told that speed flying off this launch site is frowned on bit people still sneak it in. Not a BASE jumping mountain as there are no exit points. Be safe and enjoy what this beautiful mountain has to offer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just rode our motorcycles up the mountain and got to watch paragliders and hang-gliders jump off the side. Really cool to watch if you use never seen it before and you have amazing views of Golden and the surrounding valley and mountains. Bit of a bumpy ride up, but overall lots of fun!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views of the golden area. Worth the drive up, also worth the bike up. The trails down are ahhhhhhhhh-mazing. I am so glad our friend brought us up here trails down are hard but so fun, make sure your brake pads are good!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is amazing, not long ride up the hill about 15 km would not recommend low clearance vehicles to go up, 4by4 or awd recommended road is ok but washed in some spots just drive slow , the view is breathtaking

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem. Really spectacular views, especially if you are lucky enough to catch clouds low in the valley. The drive up is tricky (30 to 40 min) - we had a jeep, which was suitable for the occasion.

If you really want to make it to the top, prepare yourself. There is a false summit, and I suggest you eat something at this point before heading to the peak. Lots of shale and very steep if heading up there.
