The good: Sheldon helped me get a mortgage like any other bank could have. The bad: He did not stay with me and provide professional guidance as you would expect from a mortgage broker with whom you are trusting your next biggest investment and debt with. Resulted in losing thousands of dollars in bank and lawyer fees. He also said he will give me a copy of the appraisal that I paid for (and was reimbursed) but never did. Conclusion: Better to just go with a bank. Banks stick to their promises. *Response to owner:* Hi Sheldon, I didn't think you would reply to my review but since you tried to shift the blame away by stating general information, let me remind you: 1. I clearly said my requirement to sign was to not pay any fees/costs/penalties. You convinced me to sign by saying you know a way to get reimbursed. It never happened. 2. You gave me your word you would send me the appraisal. It never happened. 3. When I told the bank of my troubles with you, they said I should have just went to them directly. Same end result except they would have kept their promises. You forgot about me, messed up, lied, got paid, and left me to deal with the mess you left behind. Nearly $3000 in extra costs I had to suffer. All the best.
