J	Jayson Wall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad Experience, we were looking for a 25 year amortization and a 5 year term through a real bank not some flake out mortgage bank as there was a bad end to a previous mortgage with one of those places in the past. We went with Scotia Bank but were offered a 10yr term as "Scotia was promoting a product that would see no penalties at the end of 5yrs and we could switch or change with no penalties after the 5 yrs. WE asked Sheryl and the Scotia bank mortgage rep "are you sure there will be no penalties or fees after that first 5yrs if we choose to Re-mortgage the both lied to our faces, and said yes that is the deal, it would be the same as a 5yr term they said. 5yrs go by and we head to Scotia to have a conversation about a new term and were pretty much laughed at by the new mortgage rep at Scotia, to find out that this was not a real product they offered and were were looking at a huge interest differential penalty and all our efforts to get to the bottom of this have been ignored by the bank. We did however find out there have been other people that were told this and were in the same situation as us no I know there is more to this story now. Bad advice and lies is what we got from this place, And Scotia bank

I am originally from Denmark, and we had approached Sheryl a long time ago about buying a house, but due to the short/non-existent credit history, it wasn't possible to get a mortgage at that time. Over the next two years, Sheryl worked closely with us to help improve our credit and gave us many helpful tips during this time frame. I contacted Sheryl many times, and at times even without the purchase in sight, Sheryl was above and beyond helpful answering our questions. We were finally ready to go looking for a house and met with Sheryl again. We figured out a budget, and we started the search. We worked with a great realtor, and quickly found a house, we fell in love with. We went back to Sheryl and showed her the house and she immediately started working on the application form. Because my primary income comes from commissions, finding a mortgage lender took some extra effort, but Sheryl put in that extra effort, and we got the house. Sheryl has our highest recommendations. If you need a talented and dedicated mortgage broker, Sheryl is your best choice.

I emailed her right when I got home and she returned my mail within a few minutes! She was extremely helpful, always friendly and accommodating, gave great advice and lead me through the process with ease. She works very hard for you and will do anything in her power to get the best rates available. Even though I personally did not think I could get a mortgage, she made it happen. Now I own a nice house in the country! I give a big two thumbs up for Mortgage Alliance and especially Sheryl Eaton.
