★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really beautiful spot not far from the city! The trails are well maintained and marked, and you get to walk a variety of different types of forest. On the main trail there were almost no mosquitoes, which was great, although I do still recommend to wear bug spray.
The best thing is the amount of wildlife you can find. I went to bird watch and saw more than one rare species on my first visit! Also prepare to meet lots of chipmunks and red squirrels!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite outdoor space in the city!!! Walk or jog or ski you can enjoy the great outdoors. Don't miss the flowers in the old farm yard. Annual membership recommended. Royal Astronomy Society also conducts events for stargazers.

People of this city deserve better.
My dog deserves better.
Horrible customer experience. We wanted to enjoy the Arboretum and invited a friend to join. Upon entering, she was told because she had a dog, she had to pay $150 member fee to bring the dog in. Some parks allow dogs and some don't, but to pay $150 to bring your dog in is totally ridiculous. We asked if we could have a refund seeing our friend could not walk with us and they refused. They said that not being able to walk with a friend that has a dog was not a valid reason for a refund. So we never got to experience it, and I can assure you, we will never go back. In this day and age, you would expect a bit more compassion from people

Dogs are allowed on a leash.
You must pay an entrance fee. Lots of available parking.
Some paths are extremely well maintained and flat, while other are more rough and uneven.
