★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My brother-in-law brought me these chocolates from Winnipeg when he flew to Denver. They are delicious. A very good selection, with great variety in the premium box and each tasty morsel is a delight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve always thought of Moderns as great local company and wanted to support them more since covid. However, when I was in the store a few weeks ago I overheard one of the staff (smaller, blonde woman) being rude to other staff members. I found it super unprofessional how she was whiny like a child, while being condescending to the employees. Employees should be treated better than this. I will be taking my business elsewhere, perhaps Decadence Chocolates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for 25 years. My kids look forward to Easter rabbits ( or in the old days my boys liked sharks). The dark chocolate covered ginger is outstanding. When my mom was in the hospital... my dad put out the famous Morden's Russian Mints for all the staff... my mom had nurses and cleaners and aides checking on her constantly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes it’s easy to forget that you’ve got a chocolatier in your town that has put up world-class products for decades. Haven’t visited since before the pandemic, and was very glad to stop in. Everything here is top notch. If you get within 100 kilometres, detour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In case you didn't know, they do chocolate dipping parties. A minimum of 15 people for either $15 or $25 a person, child or adult party but they said that it depends on how much you want to be able to do. I did the $25 one and there was so much to do and we made truffles. The owner came in with a couple of employees to give a quick lesson in the back and talk about making ganache and everything. The place was set up so nicely for the party. Very friendly people, completely recommend if you want to do something different for a party.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this chocolate shop. Nuts are fresh, and containers are full, ready for purchase. Chocolate are made up in boxes or you can have servers to box your favourites. I come here for my orange chocolates. Specialty are also available though call ahead if it's close to the holidays as they maybe sold out. They have special children's treats. It wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to this wonderful shop.
